What this site does not collect
There is no comment form, so no comment data is stored. Visitors cannot register, so no accounts or profiles exist. There is no mailing list and no contact form. Nothing on this site asks you to type anything about yourself, and nothing is sold or passed to advertisers.
What is collected
Server logs
The hosting provider records ordinary web-server logs — your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser’s user-agent string. These are kept by the host for a limited period and are used to run and secure the server. This is the normal operation of any website and happens before this site’s own code runs.
Google Tag Manager
This site loads Google Tag Manager, which can set cookies in your browser and send information about your visit — pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser — to Google. Google acts as a separate data controller for what it receives; its practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
If you would rather not be measured, a tracker-blocking extension or your browser’s “block third-party cookies” setting will stop it, and the site will work exactly as before. Nothing here is behind a tracking wall.
Caching
A caching layer stores copies of pages to serve them quickly. It does not identify you.
Images, video and embedded content
Almost every image and video on this site is generated by machine, hosted on this site’s own server, and served directly from it.
